Woodbridge Town Council Weddings " Shire Hall

Host your wedding or civil ceremony at the historic 16th Century Shire Hall, located in the heart of Woodbridge, Suffolk, on picturesque Market Hill. Steeped in nearly 450 years of history, Shire Hall features impressive 17th Century Flemish gabling, stone capping, and grand iron staircases, making it an iconic local venue and the perfect backdrop for photographs. The airy Council Chamber, fully licensed for ceremonies, accommodates up to 64 seated guests. The venue benefits from step-free access, public Wi-Fi, and a Bluetooth sound system to support your celebrations. A dedicated wedding car parking space and additional accessible parking options are available. Please note, only civil, non-religious ceremonies can be held and food or drink is not permitted in the Chamber. Biodegradable confetti is allowed outdoors.
