Websters Ropery

Websters Ropery is a unique private wedding venue in Sunderland, set in a beautifully restored 18th-century Grade II listed building originally constructed in 1793. The venue retains much of its character, featuring original open beams, exposed brickwork, and stonework, brass handrails, and an open fireplace, creating an inviting and authentic atmosphere. With a tranquil riverside location, private grounds, and exceptional views over the River Wear, the venue offers ample photograph opportunities and privacy. The Banqueting Suite is ideal for wedding breakfasts and receptions, accommodating up to 100 guests, while the Queen View Suite is licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 120 seated guests and evening receptions up to 140 guests.
