Wedding Entertainment in Tyne and Wear

Finding wedding bands and DJs in Tyne and Wear

Beamish Hall, Slaley Hall and Rockcliffe Hall between them host hundreds of weddings a year, and many of the wedding bands and DJs listed here have performed at all three. Suppliers cluster around Newcastle, Sunderland and Gateshead, with North Shields drawing wedding bands and DJs who specialise in Sunderland coast and south Tyne riverside venue events. Evening entertainment typically runs from £650 to £3,500, with solo and duo acts at the lower end and full live bands with production at the higher end.

Northumberland, County Durham and North Yorkshire are all within easy reach, and most wedding bands and DJs in Tyne and Wear will travel to venues there without adding a surcharge. Ask about the venue’s noise restrictions before you book — many country houses and licensed barns have sound curfews and decibel limits that affect set length and the choice between live band and DJ. Get the specifics in writing from the venue and pass them to the act early; changes at the last minute can affect whether live drums, brass or full PA systems are permitted.
